Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Type: Full-time
 

Your tasks:
 

• Design test procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new embedded computer products
• Provides support in the development, implementation and maintenance of test processes and test programs
• Providing clear technical instructions to production sites and status update to supervisor
• Preventive maintenance of testing equipment and test documentation
• Ability to troubleshoot assemblies, sub-assemblies and testing cards down to the component level.
• Production support in terms of trouble shooting
• Ability to read schematics and drawings to create test concept

Your profile:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related area of study required
• Experience with scripting on UNIX/Linux based operating systems
• Familiarity with computer system or single computers 
• Computer assembling and maintenance
• Experience with computer hardware, software troubleshooting or computer programing like C,C++
• Knowledge in testing methodology and various testing techniques
• Works well in a team environment
• Effective interpersonal skills and committed to the customer perspective
• Proficient in professional correspondence, verbal and written
• Ability to manage time and work independently
• Appetite for solving problems, taking initiative
• Detail-oriented
