Congatec customers benefit from the Thin Mini-ITX standard, which is well established in the industry and suitable for a wide range of standard temp. and industrial temp. applications, such as kiosks and retail systems, gaming machines and digital signage installations and HMI and GUI solutions for industrial machinery. Congatec Thin Mini-ITX’ boast the most of I/Os and functionality among all of our SBCs. The use of congatec SBC’s is an easy and fast way for creating industrial computing applications. Customer specific functions can be added by installing cards to the extension sockets provided. Designing with SBCs is faster because there’s no need to create customized carrier boards.
The flat design of Thin Mini-ITX – measuring max. 25mm in height with I/O-Shield – enables flat housings, such as those required for HMI PCs. The combination of low power consumption and high performance graphics is also ideal for use in semi-stationary devices with complex graphics and touch controls, such as entertainment, retail or medical diagnostic systems. Congatec is offering it’s Thin Mini-ITX SBCs based on embedded Intel® Core™ processors for performance demanding applications and Intel® Atom® class processors for low power applications.
With a maximum power draw of max. 15 watts TDP, simple passive cooling and hermetically sealed solutions can be implemented that provide a high level of protection and insulation.
