Your tasks:
- Support developers in their search for suitable components
- Monitor technological trends (for example Memory or Flash ICs)
- Involvement in quality tests and their evaluation
- Selection and test of alternative components to maintain the quality
- Close cooperation with existing vendors
- Selection of new vendors in cooperation with the purchasing department
- Active configuration of the interface between purchasing, manufacturing engineering and R & D
- Involvement in cost reduction of modules
- Maintenance of the components and the component database (Arena)
- Creation and maintenance of export classifications of components and modules
- Development of material data (RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals)
Your profile:
- Formal training as a technician / Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering or comparable training
- Experience with the selection of electronic components and their qualification process
- Sound proficiency in spoken and written German and English
- Cross-disciplinary approach to thinking and acting
- Ability to work independently, diligently, and reliably
- Ability to work in a team
